The Tevatron is the first large particle accelerator build in the US. Its purpose was to find the Higgs boson or Higgs particle. This documentary shows how the US lost its edge in particle physics to CERN in Geneva. Budget cuts by the Clinton administration even left the far larger particle accelerator unfinished.
