This documentary shows the King Ranch in Texas. It shows the history since 1853 when Mr. King bought the land after selling his railroad company. Most families that work on the farm are there for generations. The cowboys still manage 60.000 heads of cattle.  

Great video of a family growing their farm in North Carolina during the years. I think they do it in a decent way with respect to the animals. Hope they will keep providing society with food for a long time.
